New Zealand: Social experiment with homeless children
The police decided to conduct the social experiment in which a boy is going through the trash bins looking for food. He is dirty, pale and skinny. The organizers said they wanted to see how many people would care enough to stop and help him.

The homeless boy was an actor. He stood by the trash bins downtown Auckland, a busy street where in less than an hour more than five hundred people could see him. But the study showed that people did not seem to care enough. Some even approached the bin and threw their garbage in the bins the bot was eating from.

In the course of the experiment the total of ten people came to the boy and asked him where his parents were or whether he wanted some food. The Guardian says that police said that would only hire people that cared enough to offer help to the boy. They also said that it was interesting got see the number of people ready to help the police in he case of emergencies. The video was posted in a social network and was watched more than 200, 000 times since Monday.
