The former Pakistani ruler left despite the travel ban
Pervez Musharraf left the country for Saudi Arabia on Thursday. The authorities say they were never asked the permission for the travel. As his attorney explains Musharraf needed serious medical treatment that is not currently available in Pakistan.
Musharraf used to be a military ruler of Pakistan. However, after a series of crimes he was removed from his post. He is still under the investigation of the four criminal cases. He is suspected to stand behind the murder of his former opponent Bhutto as well as raid against the Red Mosque in Islamabad. He is also found guilty of starting the emergency state in the country; the Court defined it as treason.
