Families of missing MH370 flight sue Malaysia Airlines
On March 8, 2014, MH370 departed in mid-course to Beijing carrying 239 people and crew. The relatives of 12 missing passengers sued the Malaysia Airline on March 4, before a two-year anniversary for judicial action terminates.
According to Reuters, Many lawsuits have been launched in the United States, Australia, China and Malaysia in the past several weeks, and numerous cases are presumed as the deadline approaches on March 8. Families of two Ukrainian passengers, a Chinese, a Russian and eight missing Malaysian passengers contested Malaysia Airlines along with the accusation of the Malaysian officials.
The Malaysian High Court on March 4 also received a request from the Malaysian authority and Malaysia Airlines Berhad to close a lawsuit arranged by two teenage kids of two missing MH370 passengers. Aside from Malaysian officials, Malaysia Airlines and Malaysia Airlines Berhad, the families also sued Malaysia Airlines’ insurance company, Allianz and Boeing, the plane's manufacturer.
