Facebook will cover tuition for the minorities
As the f8 conference is coming, Facebook decided to announce that the company will cover the tuition for twenty students that represent the minorities like women, African Americans as well as Hispanic groups. The company said they will cover $250,000 to let these students study at Dev Bootcamp.
The Dev Bootcamp is aiming to provide the best education in the programming development possible. The representatives of the minorities filed complaints that the majority of the Dev Bootcamp is the male students. To change the statistics and to move toward the promise of adding diversity to the company staff, Facebook decided donate the money for the students.
