Iranians accused of cyber-attacks at the US banks
As the secret sources informed the Reuters, the government of the United States is filing a lawsuit against several Iranians that have attacked the banks that decided to be unnamed in the view of the safety issues. As the officials say these suspects might have started the attacks after Iran was denied of providing banking services by certain Banks.
The connection was suspected a few years ago; however, it only appeared now. This lawsuit is one of the few filed by the US against another government. Thus, in 2014 America filed a lawsuit against China for cyber-attacks.
Now theses Iranians reside in Iran and are not yet aware of the legal proceedings being filed. Nevertheless, some professionals claim that the hackers were only going to check whether their program works, as they did not do any illegal activities after entering the banking system.
