European job market: No youth empowerment
The Guardian series has recently posted an interview with Mario Draghi, the Chief Executive Officer of the European Central Bank. Draghi shared his opinion on the current state on the job market. He sees the massive youth unemployment as the biggest problem.

Draghi suggests that the fact that employers tend to keep the older staff instead of giving a way to the younger professionals might result into the lower income throughout the lifetime of so called “generation Y”. The highly paid experienced employees are the last ones to be fired when the financial hardships come and the first ones to be invested into. Meanwhile, the youth is left with no future perspectives.

Draghi also blames the lack of inflation as one of the key reasons for youth lower income. He describes the situation in such a way: the savings mostly owned by the older people keep their value, while the credits that are mostly in the hands of the young generation do not erode. The president of the ECB called up the giants of the job markets to work on reducing the unemployment among young people as well as reforming the job market. He emphasizes that the current state of employment is a tragedy for the society; it shuts the door for the youth on being a complete member of society.скачать dle 10.6фильмы бесплатно
